Friday, December 3rd was the date on which Carter took his first few steps. However, today is the first day we managed to get video of some steps. Carter's preferred mode of travel is still crawling, but give him a few more weeks (or months, as the case may be) and watch out!

Carter had a lot of fun: we trick-or-treated at three neighbors' houses. Then he got to hand out candy to the trick-or-treaters that came to our door (not all 63 of them, though, he had to take a bath and go to bed).

Giving a Friend a Lift

Our friends Jay and Janee' came out for a visit from the East Coast for the last few days and brought their eight month old daughter, Jaime. Fun was had by all!

No pictures right now as I can't seem to get Blogger to accept any. I'll post some when I do. For some reason it let me post a video, though!

Apple Hill Today

For those of you not from the area, Apple Hill is a fun, touristy place a little over two hours southwest of Reno with a bunch of apple farms, cider mills, a brewery, and some pumpkin patches. It's a bit of a drive, but Carter seemed to enjoy it!
