Happy Memorial Day!

Today we remember all those who have served our country and continue to serve, and are thankful. 




We have had a good weekend.  Carter went to a friend's birthday party on Saturday, dad and Carter went to a baseball game on Sunday (more running around and playing was done than was watching the game, but dad thinks the Reno Aces won :), and went on a short hike today.  Some pictures of our weekend are below!

Happy Easter!

It was a fun-filled day!  The boys did surprisingly well during the hour and a half Easter Mass, so we got donuts :)  Then Uncle Bill and Aunt Jen were very nice and hosted Easter dinner this year, so we had good food and a fun time over there.  Carter's sugar-high had worn off by the time we got home, so both boys went to bed early and fell asleep right away :)

Noah is one year old today!

Noah turned one today (well, technically he will be one at 9:21 pm :).  He came unexpectedly, almost two weeks early last March, so a big thanks to his aunt Jen and uncle Bill for being here a year ago today to stay with big brother Carter while mom and dad had to go to the hospital.  Noah just couldn't wait to start the fun! :)

To start out the day, he had his 12 month visit at the pediatrician's, and he checks in at 19 lb, 2 oz, and 29 inches.  Carter was a little bigger at one year, which is surprising, since Noah is a bottomless pit when it comes to food! :)  To celebrate, he got plenty of cake today and had fun opening some presents while Grandma Leah and Grandpa Jim were here!

Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

It's been a busy weekend: We celebrated Noah's first birthday yesterday (tomorrow is the actual big day) with a big party and Saint Patrick's Day today with home-corned beef.  As you can see from the party pics, it was quite the party!
