A Week's Worth of Fun!

Wow!  Two blogs in a little over a week!  You should be impressed.  :-)  As you can see from the pictures below and the updated Picasa link, we've had a lot of fun in the last week (parks, pools, and hiking).

Adventures in Camping

We went camping this last weekend and it was mostly fun.  If you've ever camped with a one year old and a three year old, you will understand the "mostly."  We'll do bigger trips as Carter and Noah get older, but, for now, one night at a close campground is quite enough fun for us.

First day of preschool!

Today was Carter's first day of preschool!  He was a little hesitant at first, but once they got in line like a "choo choo train" to go into the classroom, he was ready to go :)  He had a good first day of preschool and it must have been a busy day, because he took a good two hour nap today!  Noah did, too :)  When I asked what his favorite part of the morning was, he said "snack" :)

A Short Hike

We went for a short hike today up at the Mt. Rose Meadows.  Well, it was short for Alicia and me.  For Carter, it was a long 2.3 miles.  Noah was not sure why Carter was fussing.  Noah thought the hike was easy.

Operator Error

I'm sure the non-functional Picasa link and absence of viewable pictures on yesterday's blog have something to do with operator error.  However, I'm going to blame the big push toward social media because the link I tried to create to the new Picasa album led to a google+ page which required you to be google+ friends with us.  Rest assured, you were not left out.  We do not have any google+ friends as I just allowed google to convert our google account to a google+ account in an attempt to get video working on blogger again.  Anyway, below are the pictures I think I tried to post on yesterday's blog (I'll let you match up the captions).  If I'm not mistaken, the video did work yesterday.  If thing aren't working, feel free to let me know (just not through social media channels as, with the exception of this blog, those won't work with me).
