Carter's friends Jonah and Brooklyn came over yesterday for a fun pool party. I'm afraid the nice, cute, posed line-up pictures are a thing of the past, though: Jonah, Brooklyn, and Carter are all much more mobile and less willing to sit still.

Carter probably said his first word today. He was babbling incoherently this morning when we went to get him up. As soon as Mom walked into his room, the incoherent babbling instantly changed to "mamamamamamama." I'm pretty sure that counts.
